Environmental, Social Governance (ESG) and Sustainability.

ESG is a commitment for us as individuals and collectively as an organisation, We are structured to work towards the UN’s sustainability goals, including homelessness, poverty and sustainability in cities and communities and are actively involved with the 2030 Hub to address the urgent challenge of climate change and aid the journey towards Net Zero. We recognise that ESG is not just a business consideration, but a personal responsibility. Therefore, each member of our team is mindful of their own energy consumption in both the workplace and at home. We prioritise sustainable transportation by taking fewer car journeys and opting for cycling or walking whenever possible. Out of the 4 vehicles used by the business we have transitioned 1 into a fully electric vehicle with a plan to swap all remaining vehicle to electric by 2025. We also utilise green initiatives to reduce our own personal carbon footprint and that of the business and are actively involved with the worlds first UN recognised Local 2030 Hub for Sustainable Development goals based in Liverpool.

Furthermore, we ensure that our workspaces are energy-efficient and make smart choices regarding water usage and waste management. We strive to work with developers who share our commitment to reducing carbon emissions during construction, building to Passivhaus and Breeam standards and achieving EPC ratings of B or above on all properties. We have made a conscious decision to avoid printed marketing materials, instead utilising digital brochures, email marketing, and QR codes to reduce our paper usage.

For each property sold we plant a tree via Treeapp who’s  goal is to improve the world we live in. By enabling people to easily plant trees, absorb their carbon footprint and have a more sustainable lifestyle, and by helping organisations spread the word about their sustainable products and services.

Social Sustainability

At GETS, we are dedicated to promoting equality and diversity within our business. We prioritise the mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing of our team by offering flexible working arrangements and promoting a good work/life balance. We have also implemented a mentorship program to nurture relationships with local young people, from Wirral Met and The Hive Youth Zone offering training and future employment in the construction industry.  Our first employee was recruited locally via the Wirral Intermediate Labour Market Programme (ILM) this programme offers roles to young people in the local community not currently in employment, education or training.

We believe that supporting our community is crucial. Therefore, we are proud to support our local Food Bank, Nantwich Food Bank, for each property sold we provide supplies that support local families.

Finally, our ESG policies are a constant work in progress. We review, measure, and update them constantly. We take Sustainability ESG seriously, and we strive to incorporate these principles into every aspect of our business.

What an amazing company ! I have today exchanged on my first off-plan apartment in my favourite northern city, and it’s so exciting !! Gerallt and Taryn in particular have each been amazingly helpful and very supportive ALL the way through what is a first time process for me , explaining to me each step in detail from choosing and negotiating through to exchange and beyond. I am truly impressed with these people . I’ll be off soon for a drink to celebrate but just to say everyone needs a G&T in their property journey for sure !….. 🍸

We would highly recommend Scott. This would be our first Property Investment, he went over & beyond what was asked. Very knowledgable and provided us with a vast amount of options to choose from. Their office space is cool too.
